A collective of Commercial Real Estate firms backed by over a century of investment experience that together acquire, develop and manage multi-family housing income properties.
I worked in-house to lead digital strategy and development as part of their initiative to implement state-of-the-art investment vehicles that leverage Opportunity Zone legislation to provide tax efficient, high yield returns while simultaneously benefiting underserved communities.
The project started with research to identify key themes in the competition and focus business goals on customer needs. Doing so led to the discovery of industry standards and opportunities for great web design and marketing strategy.
Then, creative direction was needed to begin the design process. To cover this, I built a Style Guide that included font pairings, color palette & rules, custom logo design, recurring design elements, and best practices for photography selection and editing.
Building on this foundation, the website was designed using a component-based structure according to atomic design principles. I started with wireframes to determine site layout and user flows. Subsequently, mockups were built using Sketch and Illustrator.
Finally, to create the working website, I initialized an AWS instance and LEMP stack, then built a custom, responsive Wordpress theme to house the design with Underscores and Bootstrap. This included custom elements such as an AJAX login, maximalist navigation, and transitions using Javascript, jQuery, PHP, MySQL.
To finish, I wrote and created all content for the website, marketing, and investor relations. Highlights include custom interactive content, such as a tax savings calculator and explainer video animation.
With the project complete, digital marketing took business priority. I was promoted to Director position to head the marketing strategy and execution. This deck was one of the materials used for Limited Partners.
